Whether the drugging necessarily makes sense or not, what makes this episode so excellent is it sets up the active threat of Angelus for viewers who may not have seen S2 and S3 of Buffy. It also reminds those of us who DID watch those that even without Buffy constantly hovering over him, Angel still has to keep himself in check to stay away from turning back into that monster.

Dumbledore was trying to tell Harry, I know you love your parents but please don't try to put your life at risk thinking they will show up for you at those moments 😂 I think he wanted Harry to understand it was a particular situation.

Best explanation: Harry and Voldy share twin wands, they can harm themselves but not killed. Harry said "expelliarmus" a spell to disarm. While Voldy said "avada kedavra" so because Harry's spell is ironically innofensive, Voldy's wand lost and was force to performed "Prior incantantem", that basically is regurgitate "echoes" of the most recent spells it had cast, in reverse order. If one of these spells was the Killing Curse, then a ghost of the murdered person could emerge from the killer's wand. 😊

It's funny because in the book, when Dumbledore asks Harry, " Did you put your name in the goblet," it is directly followed with, " he said in a calm voice." So yeah, the portrayal of this dumbledore was a bit off, but Michael Gambon did a great job.

The real moodie, is very paranoic and really straight forward, he has captures the most death eaters, and that is why when Dumbledore suggest he is going to be new professor, some say that moodie is "mad" so in my opinion Barty Crouch Jr. select the right person to impersonate, is not far different from who he is, the biggest difference of course Moody is not blood thirsty.

It's been so long I'm sure I may have missed a couple during my college years. This episode hurt so much to watch it, my roommate and I were sobbing at the end. This show was pretty amazing and every season finale had me tearing up! love seeing your reaction to every episode...got me feeling like I'm watching it for the first time as well!

Emma and Helena Bonham Carter- Bellatrix, used to be close friends- until Helena had an affair with Emma's husband- Kenneth Branagh (who played Lockhart)... she refused to be on set when Helena was filming (both were in Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Dumbledore actually could have killed Voldemort, but he was holding back, and Voldemort recognized it in the books. In the movies, they made the battle seem closer than it actually was. Dumbledore wanted Harry to do it, i guess, but for the life of me....i dont understand why, lol. Dumbledore could have ended it...he was just too noble to do it.

Voldemort's ghastly appearance is due to his years of evil deeds, particularly in making the Horcruxes, which split his soul more times than it could physically handle. He was obsessed about the dark arts, obviously, and immortality and power. He didn't care what happened to him physically, I guess, as long as he was getting everything he wanted and he kinda did achieve it until he killed the Potters but baby!Harry was saved from death, wish affected Voldemort.

I know its a fictional story, but looking at the facts from the last movie, this one has some huge questionable logic. First, Cedric D is dead. Who killed him? Unless the ministry is accusing Harry of that murder, who else could have done it? Maybe Lord V, which is what Harry has said. Next, they caught Barty Crouch Jr, a known deatheater, who was asking about Lord V returning to human form. That in itself is some kind of evidence, but also Lucious Malfoy was another one seen there. If they just tailed Lucious, they could definitely get evidence of his role in all this. Lastly, stopping people from practicing "magic against the dark arts" is stupid, because even if Lord V wasnt back, you have a whole back yard of centaurs that are dangerous. There are alot of magical creatures that could kill you, and just magic defense against those is enough reason to teach the kids. I know they dont want people being able to fight and revolt, but the alternative is leaving these people defenseless IF their life was ever in danger.

Harry gives Snape a secret message about Padfoot, but then gets disappointed when Snape says, "No idea"... as if Snape was going to acknowledge anything in front of Umbridge!

Not sure if anyone has addressed this yet - Voldemort did Not intend to let Harry into his mind during the attack on Arthur Weasley. He was possessing Nagini, his snake, and his mind was more animalistic and open, which happened to allow Harry access. He realized the power of that connection when Arthur was rescued, and yes, he fabricated that vision of Sirius being tortured in order to lure Harry to the Department of Mysteries. The sad part is, Snape sort of did tell Harry in a way that this was possible. “Read it, control it, unhinge it.” Also, in the book, Harry does try to double check and see if Sirius is actually at headquarters, and Kreacher the house elf lies to Harry and says Sirius is at the Ministry (and then he punishes himself for it later lol). In the movie, he just believes the vision immediately and rushes off to save Sirius. As others have said, Snape had to save face in front of Umbridge by saying “no idea” to Harry’s coded message about Sirius, but he was the one who alerted the Order and sent help to Harry and his friends ❤

Snape wasn't that innocent in the books. His relationship with Snape, was in many ways like Harry's and Malfoy's.
